The journey of Mukherjee Consultancy Services (MCS) is deeply rooted in the legacy of Sushil Kumar Mukherjee, a distinguished Deed Writer who dedicated his life to the profession since the 1970s at the Sub Registrar Office in Barrackpore. 

Born in 1947 in Barisal and raised in Ichapur, North 24 Parganas, Sushil was a brilliant, educated, and knowledgeable individual who earned immense respect within the local community and the registry office. His remarkable journey from a lower-class background to an upper-middle-class life was fueled by his hard work, unwavering passion, and commitment to excellence.

Sushil Mukherjee passion for his work was truly inspiring; even in his final days, he continued to write and take calls, demonstrating his profound dedication to his craft. His father, 

Anil Mukherjee, hailed from British India (Barisal, Shikarpur), while his mother, 

Bina Rani Mukherjee, was a homemaker who played a vital role in supporting the family’s small business in the early years. Sushil’s early professional experience included a position at Nicco Corporation, where he honed his skills and expertise.

With a vision to expand his business from property registration to construction and land development, Sushil dedicated his life to helping countless clients achieve their real estate goals.

Following his passing in September 2024, Sushil's son, Raja Mukherjee, took the reins of the family legacy. Born in 1980 in Ichapur, Raja previously assisted his father in his work while also running his own ventures, including 

a travel agency named Prajakta Tours and Travels Private Limited and 

a garden plant nursery called Country Stories Garden and Pet Farm.

In honor of his father’s contributions and to reflect the expanded range of services offered, Raja has rebranded the family business as Mukherjee Consultancy Services (MCS). Under his leadership, MCS has embraced a broader spectrum of professional services, continuing the tradition of excellence that Sushil Kumar Mukherjee established.
